Car Seat Headrest will hit the road next spring, launching their tour in St. Paul, Minn. and wrapping in Vancouver in May.

Comprised of Will Toledo, Andrew Katz (drums), Ethan Ives (guitar) and Seth Dalby (bass), Car Seat Headrest has either released 11 or three albums to date, depending on the way you look at it.
“We are deeply excited to crawl out of our pit and onto the spot lit stage once more,” Toledo said. “For a few hours on a spring night, you too can slip out of your mind and into the ever-changing shared world of the theater.”
For the tour, Car Seat Headrest will make stops at The Palace in St. Paul, Minn., House of Blues in Boston, Brooklyn Steel in Brooklyn, The Warfield in San Francisco, House of Blues in San Diego and The Wiltern in Los Angeles before wrapping at The Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver B.C.
Frontman-songwriter Toledo took his moniker from making early recordings in the private environment of his family’s car, releasing a dozen self-recorded and produced albums on Bandcamp and building a tight-knit following.
The band’s Matador debut, Teens of Denial (2016) catapulted the band to success and critical acclaim. Twin Fantasy (2018) – a re-imagination of an album originally released in 2011 – demonstrated newfound scale, depth, and ambition.
Released in May of 2020, Making a Door Less Open is the result of a fruitful “collaboration” between Car Seat Headrest and 1 Trait Danger, a CSH electronic side project consisting of drummer Andrew Katz and Toledo’s alternate persona, Trait.
